Thanks to our creative lifestyle, we always use to collect experiences where ever we used to go. On a cold winter night, couple of our friends sitting in my cosy corner of the bedroom were discussing on how the business mindset has changed over the years. This was the time to diversify into something you love for our better future. We all agreed, getting into what matters to your heart was always a top priority for us. That day, a new dream was born and a game plan was drafted. A bootstrap based in New Delhi which took birth to satisfy the hunger for creativity. Extension to which we decided to follow our passion as a person who could feel free to express their feelings through art.

At the onset, we would like to introduce you to our studio which we call EXPERIMENTAL ART SPACE . Our space will be used to experiment with different art mediums, innovative concepts, pop up shows and lot of workshops. Interstellar gallery features a modern and dynamic artistic environment with a house of successful artists. The diversity and depth of our contemporary art inventory makes it a great springboard for younger people to begin collecting, while serving as a dynamic source for more seasoned and experienced collectors.

Interstellar describe themselves as a premium luxury brand which is inviting and very approachable. Whilst grateful for their rapid growth and success, their determination to continue to grow and push boundaries shines through even after the pandemic is over.

Interstellar want’s to strengthen its position and extend the influence as the centre for Indian art and beyond. The gallery has a core team of art specialists dedicated to providing collectors, designers, developers and corporations with the tools needed to offer innovative and creative art. Interstellar strives to de-mystify the art buying experience. We aim to facilitate a uniquely fun art buying “event” that brings world class artists, in an ethically managed, easy going and accessible environment, to collectors from around the globe.

We constantly endeavour to develop programs which reach audiences world-wide through the online and offline platforms. Promoting art culture through active workshops, artist talks and much more by collaborating through our cultural partners. Interstellar was built out of a shared love for art and the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy and acquire art in an environment that is both welcoming and inspiring.

We also want to understand our audiences better, to broaden their socio-economic and ethnic mix and to improve the quality of their experience. Our constant endeavour is to work with artist who dedicates themselves to spread a positive message wherever possible. We wish to improve our relationship with our friends, supporters and advisors, use our profile to achieve greater impact for our activities and further the contribution to visual arts and our society by participating in, supporting and sponsoring, meaningful community and charitable events.

Interstellar associates itself with VACA India foundation, which works towards the welfare of ex defence personal and supports women empowerment. Interstellar vows to contribute to such an noble initiative 5% of all the total artwork sold through its space.

IQRUT KATARIA
Founder & Artist

With a total of 11 years of cumulative experience, Iqrut is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist who has diversified into many fields which include photography, content creation, events and radio. After much to his dismay, he finally settled down to start his own business Global Homez / Luxus Façade which is into retailing doors & windows in May 2013 after resigning from his fun-loving job at Radio Mirchi.

 

Iqrut loves showing artists from around the world because he believes his clientele is going to be best served by having variety. He totally feels that no one person understands the struggles and perspective of an artist better than another artist and through this very thought he focuses more on getting new artistic talents for all to see and experience. Iqrut’s background as an artist has only enhanced his understanding, and his ability to bring greater success to many artists.


Running a successful gallery requires an enormous amount of time, attention and energy to consider much else, Because of this Iqrut is even more mindful to treat galleries artists with respect and to watch out for their best interests. He prides himself that he aims to be the most transparent gallery owner that an artist could hope for. He realized that his artists rely on him and feel a sense of responsibility for that as well. Being in an artist-owned gallery can have its benefits, however, not every artist who owns a gallery is a good business person or has their gallery artists interest as a priority.


Iqrut is an army kid with schooling all across India in Army schools, pursued B.tech in Marine engineering from MIT Pune India, MBA in finance before starting his journey in business. His burning desire is to live a life with creative freedom as an artist to spread awareness for a sustainable future for all lifeforms..


Creative at heart and a globe trotter, finally starting his creative journey as an artist through Interstellar gallery. Iqrut believes that “The world is full of inspiration, and ideas come in all shapes and forms…whether it’s something we see or a conversation with a friend, he always tries to incorporate it all into his artworks.

Mr Chaudhary (born 1983) is an architect, vastu expert before he turned himself into an art curator for Interstellar gallery. His forte is into finding traditional Indian art from all corners of India. He has 15 years of experience in the luxury living industry. He is also the director at BDPL pvt Ltd and runs his own real estate firm at the same time.

Megha saw her creative life while working for a banking MNC in New York in late 2018. She stays and supports part time to our United States office since 2020 in curating artworks which have meaningful representation and message for the art community so that they can grow and make this world a better place than what it is today.

Manikis the guy who handles numbers for us. He belongs to faruknagar, Haryana and has majored in Accounts. You will always find Manik drafting an excel or writing a Shayari.
