Concept Note – A twilight where art meets fashion. This piece is an ode to one of the most prominent figures in arts and fashion- Elsa Schiaparelli, an Italian fashion designer heavily depicting surrealist approaches. Schiaparelli’s collaborators include one of the best surrealist painters of all time, Salvador Dale.
Taking Twiggy, an American fashion icon since the early 60’s as my subject, I have created a pop art version to make people witness the collaboration of arts and fashion through my lens.
sharp and crisp geometric patterns are presented here with precision to create a spectrum of pop colours letting Twiggy illuminate in Schiaparelli jewels.
Rough and Rugged textures are added for the viewers to add Aesthetics in Mundane.
